Military life takes all your concentration. If you’re getting ready to deploy, you’ll have even more to think about. That’s why an allotment is such a good idea. It means one less bill you have to deal with, and it protects your credit by making sure your payments are always on time. An allotment makes your payments secure, convenient and off your mind.

Set Up an Allotment
  1. Setup the allotment at myPay.gov
    1. Go to myPay.gov
    2. Access your account by entering your myPay.gov LoginID and PIN
    3. Select Allotments
    4. Does an allotment to First Citizens Bank already exist?   or  
      1. Increase the existing First Citizens Bank Allotment amount by amount of new loan payment plus $2.00 bank processing fee.
      2. Select "Save"
      3. Review confirmation page for accuracy and note the date the action will be reflected on your LES
      4. Select "Yes" on the confirmation Page to confirm and complete transaction
      1. Start Allotment
      2. Enter Financial Institution Routing Transit #: 083901825 (Example)
      3. Enter your Social Security Number as the Account Number
      4. Select Account Type "Savings"
      5. Enter Monthly Loan Payment amount plus $2.00 bank processing fee
      6. Select "Save"
      7. Review confirmation page for accuracy and note the date the action will be reflected on your LES
      8. Select "Yes" to confirm and complete transaction

Allotments must be submitted and accepted by the 20th of the month for the payment to credit to your account on the 1st of the following month.



Setup an EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
A Customer Service Associate will set up the EFT.
Just call 1-888-430-5176 and have your bank account information ready.
You will need your bank routing number and account number to set up your payments.
